1 About Wokly

Wokly is a mobile application that helps you discover, cook, and master authentic Chinese recipes. Wokly is operated by an independent developer. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean the Wokly developer. References to "you" or "your" mean the person using the app.

2 Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Wokly.
• If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• By using Wokly, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3 Your Account

To access personalised features, you must create an account using a valid email address.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at yongqi.luo.sg@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without authorisation.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4 Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

5 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Wokly for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our recipe content without written permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access Wokly
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Interfere with the integrity or performance of the app or its infrastructure

6 Intellectual Property

All content in Wokly — including recipes, photographs, text, illustrations, UI design, and the Wokly name and logo — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

What you can do:

• Use the app and its content for your own personal, non-commercial cooking
• Share screenshots or short clips on social media for non-commercial purposes

What you cannot do:

• Reproduce, republish, or sell any Wokly content without prior written consent
• Use Wokly content to train AI models or for any commercial purpose
• Remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g. photos). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display it within the app for the purpose of delivering the service to you.

7 Food Safety & Health Disclaimer

• Always follow safe food handling and preparation practices.
• Check ingredients for allergens before cooking. We do not guarantee that recipe information is free from allergen errors.
• Nutritional information (where provided) is estimated and may not be accurate for your specific ingredients or portion sizes.
• If you have a medical condition or dietary requirement, consult a qualified professional before following any recipe.
• Wokly is not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse reaction resulting from preparing or consuming food made using the app.

8 Disclaimer of Warranties

Wokly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation
• Accuracy or completeness of any recipe, nutritional, or other content

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the app at any time without notice.

9 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wokly and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the app
• Any errors or omissions in the content
• Unauthorised access to your data
• Any third-party actions

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.

10 Third-Party Services

Wokly integrates third-party services (Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, OpenAI). Use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.

11 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Wokly at any time if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the app ceases immediately.
• Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Active subscription benefits end at the close of the current billing period.

12 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or email. Continued use of Wokly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

13 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
